Dave Sinclair
Dave was a founder member of the 'progressive' rock group Caravan, whose debut album was released in 1968. He was in and out of the band during their long life, leaving for the last time in October 2002.
Apart from working at his piano restoring business, he spent most of 2003 recording two albums entitled "Full Circle" and "Into The Sun", which were released in 2004. Shortly after, Dave played a few concerts, mainly in Japan.
In 2005, after working for 25 years at his piano shop, he finally laid down his regulating tools and polishing mops, and decided to concentrate more on his music work, especially his writing. The inspiration for his writing came mainly from his travels in Japan, where he now spends much of his time.
Dave writing Full Circle
Dave is known for his distinctive organ style and his lengthy compositions, such as "Nine feet underground" and "For Richard" which have been played by Caravan continuously through the years. Along with his songwriting skills, he has also used his creative talents in many of the arrangements of Caravan songs. Read more on Last.fm.
